eCoreAcademy Students Donating to Hospitals and Locals During a Time of Great Need in Namakkal, Tamil Nadu, India
As India is enduring an unthinkable second wave of the global COVID-19 crisis, hotspots such as the city of Namakkal have been severely impacted. Hospitals in Namakkal are quickly depleting their stocks of essential and medical supplies to cater to the needs of the growing influx of patients.
To provide assistance, eCoreAcademy students were kind and brave enough to raise funds and procure needed medical supplies, such as masks, gloves, ventilators, and cannulas, and donate them to the hands of the primary caregivers and physicians at the government hospital in Namakkal. eCoreAcademy co-founders coordinated the event, communicated with doctors, and procured the supplies needed through remote involvement from the United States.
The students also donated similar medical supplies to several other primary medical healthcare centers in and around Namakkal.
eCoreAcademy co-founders Anita Raj and AJay Raj state, “What these students did today shows a wealth of character and a strong moral compass. These students who participated should be proud! By doing good will for the community, they are also doing good will for themselves! Their contribution makes a meaningful impact, and they are good people for giving to others during a time of need for everyone. We are proud to have such students in our community. In addition, we are grateful for the doctors who enabled these students to give back to the community. The doctors have contributed so much to the health and welfare of the locals, so our gratitude goes to them as well.”
eCoreAcademy once again gives thanks to the students and doctors who helped arrange these events.
