Volunteered at an event hosted and organized by the New Jersey Tree Foundation as a representative of The Raj Foundation. We planted a group of young trees on Linden Street/Cooper Grant in Camden, NJ to combat urban heat islands and help repopulate greenery in the area after a lantern fly infestation killed the neighborhood’s previous ash trees. The event was successful, and The Raj Foundation looks forward to bringing more volunteers next time to do work with the NJTF!
